The Bedworth Civic Hall is a multi-purpose entertainment venue providing facilities for a wide range of activities, from performance arts to live music, dance and drama to conferences, classical music to comedy, one man shows to our annual traditional pantomime. It also boasts a excellent Gallery space, Meeting/Conference Rooms, Bar and Bistro, Coffee Bar and a Small Hall in addition to its multi-purpose 763 seat main auditorium. It now plays host to a diverse range of activities including concerts by international artistes and orchestras. The world famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti actually sang at the Bedworth Civic Hall when recording an album with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestra enjoyed the acoustics so much they recorded two more albums at the Civic Hall before the Symphony Hall, Birmingham was built.
Top TV and radio stars including Rhod Gilbert, Lenny Henry, Billy Ocean, Pam Ayres, Billy Fury, AC/DC, Ken Dodd, Jethro, Max Bygraves, Stephan Grappelli, Morecambe and Wise, The Drifters, Larry Grayson, Sir Norman Wisdom, Jimmy Tarbuck, The Band of the Royal Marines,and Cilla Black have appeared at the venue attracting full houses. National television has also visited the venue in the form of ‘Dickinson’s Real Deal’.
Recently we have started to produce our own professional pantomime running alongside the ever-popular amateur productions. With a large number of local dancing school presentations, charity events and professional touring shows the venue is constantly busy. Professional snooker, darts and boxing events take place regularly attracting large audiences.
The Bedworth Civic Hall is proud of it’s catering operation providing a first class bistro and bar service as well as a wide variety of specialist catering.
